I believe it is very important to find humour in our darkest thoughts and laugh at ourselves. This film has taught me how you don’t always need to take yourself too seriously and making it with the backdrop of a global pandemic has been something of a therapeutic exercise. It has been both challenging and a reminder of all the annoyances we find in times of normality!
This film is constantly teaching me an incredible variety of things, from writing a completely different style from what I’m used to, to working with such talented and inspiring actors such as Georgina Bevan, Kevin McNally and David Mumeni.
