After a couple struggles to connect, a body-conscious man must overcome his insecurity before everything they have built is burned to the ground.

Director’s Vision

This Thing of Ours is centered on insecurities that come from being in a truly committed relationship, more specifically from the male perspective. Being a bigger dude myself, I’ve had my fair share of issues with body image and trust and wanted to create something that I could relate to in this regard. This was shot over a day with some really talented people on a shoestring budget of zero; just an idea and a group of collaborators willing to find the story in the moment.
