A man obsessed with having children is forced to question reality when his house plant exhibits strange behavior.
Director’s Vision for a ‘A Rustle of Leaves’
A Rustle of Leaves came about when I caught myself contemplating the plant in the corner of my bedroom. This thing is alive. It doesn’t talk, but it definitely feeds. It can’t move, but it certainly grows. What a strange thing we humans do, ignoring another living entity in our personal space.
We should probably be thankful these plants don’t make their presence more known. What would happen if a plant wasn’t so static? If it decided to impose on our lives? What would happen if it wanted to help?
