The two titular characters are on their third date and one awkward encounter follows the next, leading to their eventual miscommunication in the bedroom.

Director’s Vision for ‘A Night With Lucas and Silvia’

The film was inspired by experiences that I, and many of my close friends who are women, have had over the past number of years. It is an accumulation of all the uncomfortable dates we’ve been on. An amalgamation of those awkward encounters where you are trying to communicate consent to somebody, or trying to understand someone’s boundaries.
