In the midst of a global pandemic, a shattered lover in isolation searches for closure in a distant relationship falling to pieces.

Director’s Vision

“A Message Never Sent” questions the legitimacy of a relationship fallen apart during the pandemic. The film deals with themes of isolation and grief while examining how two characters process the same experience in different ways. The static visual approach creates a sense of claustrophobia, this anxiety creates tension between both characters stuck on opposing time zones with no communication. Ultimately, acceptance is the message and not all relationships need closure in order to move on.
