Director’s Statement

This film was created as proof of concept for a feature script currently in development. For the purposes of the short, my co-writer, Bryce Ahart, and I wanted to explore the dynamics of a completely unorthodox “meet cute” where issues of trust arise instantaneously. For myself the final product feels like both a successful showcase of what’s to come and on its own an electrifying study of an impulsive decision based on coincidence and the collision of a man battling his faith and a woman who lost her’s long before. This film would be nothing without the brilliant contributions of my many collaborators, all of whom I am indebted to.
