Director’s Vision for ‘Welcome to the Neighborhood’

Inspired by dark comedies like Being John Malkovich and Adaptation, I set out to capture the outsider’s experience—being surrounded by people bound by shared memories and an unspoken language, where anything you add feels meaningless. I also wanted to explore how media amplifies this divide, shaping who belongs and who doesn’t.
