Director’s Statement

This piece was birthed out of my own inability to strike a balance between the commercial world and the art world, and a need to learn how to let go of my own self-doubt. This surreal portrait of an individual facing their fears, and accepting their circumstances is a small reflection of the balance that I wish to find myself. I hope it leaves the viewer questioning what it is they still need to face, and sparks a little courage for those who may need it.
