Director’s Vision

I first started writing Summer Vacation after I had stumbled upon several articles revolving around young people’s relationship to dating apps. For a reason I still cannot completely pinpoint, dating apps just fascinate me. I didn’t want to make a film bashing dating apps; I just wanted to explore how a dating app could fit into a coming-of-age story revolving around one’s sexuality and intimacy.
