This is our little action oriented buddy cop adventure between a demon hunting Japanese police officer and a small time finnish criminal. This was a blast to make!

Director’s Vision for ‘The Spirit Hunters’

This is our little homage to 80s action films from HK but with a finnish twist into the buddy cop genre. Kaori Kawabuchi – who is a phenom with the sword – came to Finland to shoot with us so we had to elevate our game! We came up with something that we would enjoy shooting and that would also work as a short film with a clear narrative. With a budget of absolute zero, I feel we got pretty close to what we envisioned!
