Director’s Vision for ‘Parka’

When I tell people that Parka is based on a true story, jaws drop, and eyes get wide. Like Sara, the main character, I’ve been a vegetarian for most of my life. Also like Sara, I appreciate fashion. So when my favorite 89 year old aunt gave me a beautiful coat, I didn’t have the heart to refuse her.

Parka is a lavish fantasy and dark nightmare rolled into one eventful evening, shot at the beautiful Fairmont hotel and the streets of San Francisco.
