Director’s Vision

We went in knowing we had a slightly juvenile (okay, maybe very juvenile) premise, but despite the absurdity, there’s a lot of loss here. Loss of a friendship. Of ambition. Of possibilities. So the story really only came together once we realized how stuck both characters are in trying to reclaim something that’s already gone. And we realized that the moment our amazing cast told us that’s what was happening. Until that point we thought it was just a funny title.
