Tired of being set up, Keel focuses on her summer job at a burger joint, until one final date changes everything.

Director’s Vision for ‘Keel’

I am deeply invested in amplifying female voices. Especially female driven narratives that demonstrate how sensitive young women navigate their lives on both a personal and emotional level. I chose to tell this story because it’s based on a true story about how my parents met and follows our main character Keel, where she’s at a point in her life where the emotions she’s experiencing in 1977 are no different than the emotions women feel today.
