A distressed young woman takes refuge with her religiously-minded sister, who warns her she could be visited by an angel in the night.
Director’s Vision for ‘It Visits Me’
It Visits Me began as a story a friend of mine told me in high school, about her friend warning her of a “ghost” that visited often. I always knew there was something there, but many years later it wouldn’t be until my girlfriend mentioned the connection between that story, and the people of religions seeing “angels”, that the idea was born.
We shot It Visits Me over 2 late nights at a remote lake house in upstate New York, lending itself to the isolated tone. With such an incredible cast and a stellar crew, we really were able to create something that not only can work from a “creep” factor, but can be something to think about much after the final credits roll.
