Director’s Vision for ‘Peas’

“Peas is a short film about the Italian women in my family: my mom, grandma and great grandmother (the original Italian, who immigrated from Salerno to New York with only a 2×4 wooden chest and a new American husband). It’s a film about growing up, grief and motherhood, set within the culturally rich but often emotionally reserved Italian American household.
