Director’s Vision

This is a story of family, justice and resistance. Shot at my childhood home. Crew consisted of close friends and family. Cast became family during the week-long shoot.

I have two younger siblings, and I’ve always strove to protect them. But I’m starting to come to terms with the fact that they are growing up and becoming their own people. I returned home for a year during the pandemic, and during that time, I was able to spend more time with them than ever before. And now, as I leave Philly to continue my career in LA, I view this film as my send-off; my nod that no matter what happens in their worlds, I’ll always have their backs.
