Director Statement

It is the purpose of the movie goers to sit behind a cinema screen and be engaged with the fictional characters on the screen. This has made realism in films very important, yet we still value our voyeuristic position.

The fact that only our emotions are being played with when watching an engaging film and our physical body is safe creates a sense of excitement. The combination of the two, creating fiction and striving to create realism, is a juxtaposition and an internal conflict. It is this obsession of human beings to create such conflicts that I have found interesting and tried to explore in this little short film.
