Director’s Vision

This film was a collaboration between myself, my masterful cinematographer, Dmitry Lopatin, and the star of the film, Mark Clennon, who is also a talented and passionate musician. Spencer Creaghan, another longtime collaborator of mine, created a beautiful original score. In creating this film, we chose to omit spoken dialogue to formally echo the experience of being “ghosted”. We wanted to explore feelings of anxiety, dread, and isolation that manifest when you are ignored by someone that you have an intimate relationship with. This film is a love letter to queer people who have felt abandoned, forgotten, or “ghosted”, and somehow found the strength to keep on dancing.
