Director Statement

Echoes of You is about the power of giving to others. In today’s world, we are so pre-occupied with our own narratives that we often forget that it is better to give than to receive. Giving to others not only is good for those we are helping, but fills our own lives with purpose and joy.

Ultimately, our protagonist realizes that there is a purpose beyond himself. Although he never achieves his lifelong dream of becoming a renowned classical pianist, he takes the time to inspire a little boy who comes from nothing; and even though he doesn’t know it, that moment of kindness, of unselfishness, will change the boy’s life forever, and subsequently, Andrew’s too.
