Looking to escape her monotonous day to day life and the small town of Cedar Bluff, Marlo’s luck soon changes when she finds a set of keys at the bottom of a motel pool.

Director’s Vision

Cedar Bluff is a “careful what you wish for” fable presented through the eyes of a down-on-her-luck character. Her venture into the unknown, in the hopes of a more fulfilled life, is a sentiment we all share but maybe not all act on. My hope in telling this story was to present, through the lens of suspense and mystery, a cautionary take on the age-old adage, “the grass is always greener on the other side.”
