Director’s Vision

Bad Thoughts is a psychological horror short heavily inspired by my own personal experiences with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). The horror genre provided a perfect outlet to shape and build an entity based on the darkest corners of our brain. After a year where so many people have taken such a huge hit to mental health and experienced long term self-isolation to sit in it with – this was the only monster that truly scared me. One that felt universal enough to start a discussion. A malignant creature that stems from our own personal fears and desires, and knows exactly how to weaponize them against ourselves.
