Director’s Statement

400 miles came into fruition when I sat down with writer Garrett Kim and told him I wanted to tell a story about the personal experiences I’ve had when life seems to put an expiration date on the relationship you’re in. I wanted to keep the film small/quiet and explore how two people navigate that conversation in an intimate setting. I’m proud of the atmosphere and performances achieved in the film and hope audiences will be able to see themselves depicted in one of the characters.
