raw* follows the story of a troubled teen enchained by drug addiction, an ideological movement caught in the fire of extremism, and a family grieving the sudden suicide of a loved one. Seventeen-year-old Jakob Levin, forced to accept responsibility for his criminal behavior, unrepentant and unwilling, is sentenced to work on a transformative organic farm on Salt Spring Island.
