Fan Films can take us to amazing places and times, and sometimes they can surprise us and make completely absurd ideas into reality. Welcome to the Middle Ages, where a group of war torn Templar Knights are tasked with hunting down a demon that plagues the countryside. The demon, one of our favorite horror film villains ever: The Predator.

The film is an interesting twist on modern science fiction films where we are used to encountering the aliens in the present day, or in the future. But what if aliens came to visit at an earlier age? Today we know what aliens are, or at least we have a recognition that there may be alien life out there, so if we ever came face to face with one, as surprised as we’d be – we would know that it’s most likely alien. But in an age where life beyond Earth was unthinkable, imagine coming across a creature of the sort.. Something certainly demon-like.

In the end Predator: Dark Ages still remains a badass sci-fi fan film, but also comes with lots of food for thought within the genre.
