Once the party is over, Lilah and Echo decide to visit their once best friend, Claire, who just celebrated her birthday with her new boyfriend, Julian, to hand over a little present.

Eye for an Eye is one of the 10 editorial fashion films commissioned by Vogue Italia and Fashion Film Festival Milano for the project “Through My Eyes”. This innovative collection presents ten of the most important Italian brands seen though the eyes of ten young directors. With this film, Marco Prestini explores the world of Gucci. The film premiered during the Vogue Fashion Night Out in Milan in the streets of Via Montenapoleone and was then screened, out of competition, at FFFMilano 2016.

The invidious little tale escorts us through the revengeful gift giving of Lilah to her once best friend Claire. The experience is rather vivid with a soothing pace, cleverly placing elements to make a simple stroll around a well garnished house seem like an eventful journey. A film like this certainly takes the best out of branded films, which sometimes can be seen as blatant product placement, but the subtle elements here only add texture to the story, letting directive creativity take the center stage.

The most interesting part of all this, is that the film was also created as an interactive version. Make sure to go check it out here eyeforaneye.video
