A man wakes up bleeding from a hole in his chest. Rather than save himself, he attempts to rescue the person who might be the one responsible for his wound.
Director’s Vision
I’ve always found liars to be the most interesting characters. Why are they lying? Do they believe the lie? How much of their life is a lie?
We all know people who remember situations in ways that gratify their ego. And I get it. Delusion is a useful way to cope with all of the horrible things that befall us.
The Wound is about a man daring to confront his worst fear, while simultaneously escaping it.
