Step into a world where love burns bright—and deadly. “The Sailor & The Saint” dives into the heart of a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style romance, set against the gritty backdrop of the 1960s. This is no ordinary love story; it’s a tale of passion and peril, of a couple on the run, where every stolen moment of tenderness is shadowed by danger. With contrasting timelines, it masterfully uses black and white to highlight tender memories from the recent past, while the present-day scenes explode with colour, capturing the intensity of love and danger.

Director’s Vision for ‘The Sailor & The Saint’

With this project, I set out to create a music video that felt like a short film—rich in narrative yet fluid and lyrical. The typewritten letter became the emotional anchor, grounding what is otherwise a loose, montage-driven story. By juxtaposing grainy black-and-white nostalgia with bold, neon-saturated colours, we aimed to reflect the tension between past memory and present chaos. Every detail — from storyline, lighting and casting to the 1960s-inspired settings and costumes — was carefully crafted to reimagine a familiar story in a bold new way, breathing fresh life into it while embracing its timeless resonance.
