In a remote Mayan village, a tenacious young girl’s dream of education is in peril when an unwanted pregnancy endangers her sister’s life.

“Tether” is director Eve Symington’s Masters Thesis from New York University’s Tisch Asia program. “Tether” was shot on location in Guatemala in the Kaqchikel Mayan language, with a female writer/director, producer, DP, and line producer.
