Director’s Vision for ‘Storm’
STORM is a homage to early 2000s thrillers, with its classic cinematic language and visual tools. Only here, this language becomes part of the plot and a way to intimidate the characters. It’s a quick, edgy, highly-visual story with a meaningful point of view and a meta message imprinted at its heart.
Hiding behind a high concept, STORM is really shining the light on our society’s lack of boundaries when it comes to diving into the private lives of people on screen, public figures and everyone on our social media, ultimately turning them into an unhealthy source of entertainment rather than simply people. They feed us, we affect them, it turn into a never ending vicious cycle.
