Director’s Statement

Solo, Contigo came naturally from a painful separation in my life and how I interpreted those events. I felt the absurdity of what it meant to “break up” with someone. The complications of leaving anyone that you have passionately loved and are ultimately forced to forget. The confusing emotions of a break up do not always culminate in tears but can at times be shown with physical intimacy. I hope this brief film allows the viewer to feel the tension, confusion, and sadness of this situation without through expressions of the characters.
