There is always this threat of violence present in Israel, it is every day and it is normalized. And it’s constant presence creates an incredible desire to grab onto life and take everything from it.

An incredible over-the-top energy of Tel Aviv that in spite of it all, you are going to live to the extreme — and this is everything that follows that initial outburst: dance, music, community, hedonism, love. And then again, suddenly, as if out of nowhere — terrible violence. Which we pretended to forget that was ever even there in the first place.
