Director’s Statement

While PAPERCOP is a comedy, our goal was to tell the story in a grounded way that allows people to feel for Neil, while laughing at the absurdity of the situations that he finds himself in. We worked closely with our cast and crew to craft an experience that shifts genres, styles, and tones from one scene to the next, all unified by Neil’s subjective experience on his journey towards self-actualization.
