Europeans living in the UK await their future during the current political unrest. This story follows Nicu a Roma migrant as he tries to survive exploitation in an arcane shanty camp on the outskirts of London.

Directors Statement

The inspiration for Mulo came about through the direct experience of people who live their lives, hidden and infrequently observed, in a small copse of trees near a busy London road. Here Romanian and Bulgarian men of Roma descent live in an ominous forgotten space.
It was essential to us that this project would unveil an impenetrable London, one that is always there but never seen.

We have kept the film as authentic as possible; working with the local Roma community to source actors and then with their help developed the narrative. Although this film takes a dark turn, at its heart, the lead character is a subtle working-class hero who does the right thing in the end.
