A teenage boy confronts the challenges of identifying with the hyper-sexuality and rigid masculinity that surrounds him during a weekend trip to meet his estranged father’s new girlfriend.

Through ‘Melograno,’ we aim to explore the moral conflict faced by a young teenage boy who is pressured to conform to an outdated masculine ideology. He finds it challenging to relate to the hyper-sexuality, performative masculinity, and generational expectations imposed on him.
