HYPER REAL follows a headstrong female student enrolled in a photo real VFX class. Lost in her computer screen, she begins seeing patterns in the real world that cause her to question the nature of reality.

Directors Vision

I love the idea of a visual effects artist working on a photo real assignment and in the process of trying to simulate reality, she comes to the epiphany that everything is built. I have always thought if you design for a living, you start to see a design in everything, and I attempted to dramatize that in a film. HYPER REAL is about an atheist being dragged, kicking and screaming, into a spiritual awakening.
