Life needs Death… Death needs Life. A visual poem about Life and Death
Director’s Vision for ‘Lux Tenebrae’
I came up with the concept for Lux Tenebrae during the pandemic. I was in a small town in Spain and could not leave for 2 months. In these moments I hold on to my art as a form of escape, so I hid inside my consciousness and thoughts to silence all of humanity’s pain. Within this silence two voices kept whispering to me and their words I turned into a monologue. The voices of two entities that hold hands with our existence. One of the hands eventually lets go… but the other one holds it forever. Life… Death…Death is painful… and that is why it makes Life so precious. Two sisters that need each other. Life and Death… Lux Tenebrae.
