This is a story of a gifted and ambitious young woman from New York who’s no stranger to struggle and hard work. She was born and raised in the projects of manhattan and still stays to take care of her sick mother, but she has big dreams. She’s a dancer and has been training for a life-changing ballet audition- this is her shot. She somehow navigates her different worlds from home and dance all while balancing her intense love life with her ballet partner/ boyfriend. He is what grounds her and helps motivate her. They plan to make it out together… but a recent and unexpected tragedy challenges her to keep striving, alone.
