This is absorbing slow-burn of a video for New York rapper Homeboy Sandman begins with his phone conversations with various friends, family and associates around the city. Then it reveals that the recipients of those calls have something else in common. And it builds to a climax on a Brooklyn beachfront, and the fulfillment of the theme and title of the song, Monument.
