Alone in a petrified, long dead forest, a strange creature looks for a last spark of life…
The film was inspired by the longing for spring and a research on simplicity of shape and color. I wrote it and directed and did all the CG myself. The amazing composer Steve Lynch did the music (he did the one for Tríd an Stoirm too). The project was supported by Windmill Lane Pictures – where I work as a CG artist – and they helped me have a sound design (Dominic Lawrence) and a grade done in-house by Matt Branton, as well as an editor (Lee Hickey, who edited Tríd an Stoirm as well).
