When a mysterious man only she can see begins causing uncanny disturbances, Meredith must convince her tattoo artist to finish what she started in order to break a spell with life-changing consequences.
Director’s Vision for ‘Fairy Story’
Fairy Story was born of limitations. I knew from the start I wanted to tell a story in a genre I love – fantasy – in an achievable, grounded way. As my first foray into directing, having produced short films before and knowing the many complexities involved, I wanted to keep things small. A small cast. Two locations. A standalone, satisfying story that I could tell while getting my legs under me as a director. That was the goal. Putting the team together to make it reality, and empowering that team to make creative choices to contribute to a shared artistic vision – that was what made it all come true. Like the heroes and heroines in classic fairy-tales, Fairy Story overcame the obstacles to find a happy ending.
