The remaining members of the indie folk band The Suburbs and their manager are thrown into a tailspin when their lead singer takes her own life unexpectedly.

Director Statement

I wanted to experiment with structuring a film like a concept album, which is the reason much of the story in Suburbs is told through a series of songs, each one musing on themes of transition and perseverance as the characters seek solace in the aftermath of tragedy.
