Director’s Vision

Crowning holds an intimate lens to the complexity and pressures of what it is to be a woman. Through tenets of the silent film, we interrogate our perspectives as we follow a peculiar pregnant lady through her day. As the film progresses, we realise that perhaps more is going on here than we previously assumed.
