Director’s Vision for ‘Città D’Oro’

My love for storytelling started with a fable. Back in Santa Caterina Dello Ionio, a small town in the Calabria region of Southern Italy, my grandfather would tell my father a simple story over and over again about a goose that laid eggs of pure gold. This classic tale of love and greed has been passed down generations but has still managed to remain intact. When my father moved to Canada at the age of 17, he brought a little bit of this tradition with him. This is my way of honoring such a beautiful story, and generations of storytelling that are now being passed down to me. This is Città D’Oro.
