Catharsis is a humorous and truthful look at the multiple personalities that seem to overwhelm us all in the heat of a breakup. Performed by four actors as a set of mock interviews, each actor embodies these personalities from forgiveness, rage, denial, and desperation as their recollections of how the relationship went wrong collide. A mix of comedy and tragedy, it illuminates just how crazy we can sound if we don’t ground ourselves in reality.
