Director’s Statement

I’ve always enjoyed stories that combine genres or flip a genre on its head. The simple story for A Respectable Job started with the idea of that opening shot; a moody, silhouetted image of a character who is clearly up to no good. Next. it was asking “How do we thematically flip this upside down?”
