Two young entrepreneurs make a decision which will change the entire world.
Director’s Vision for ‘A Really High Number’
When we were kids, many of us were just arrogant and optimistic enough to think we might change the world one day. The world’s most important people never lost that ambition. It remained lurking there into adulthood, motivating their decisions, fueling their creativity, and annoying those around them. The vein, self-glorifying, naive ambition to change the world has led to some of the most positive societal changes, and some of the most negative. That’s what the film’s about. Ambition — what it’s good for, what it’s not good for, and whether it even contributes to someone’s likelihood of making the world a better place. I was inspired by some research into some recent history, where I found examples of people who were asking these same questions. While many don’t know their story, there aren’t many who don’t know its outcome.
