The Foster Portfolio

An offbeat, mid-century tale, adapted from the original short story by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

The Foster Portfolio is a short film adaptation of the original short story from Kurt Vonnegut’s Welcome to the Monkey House. It is an offbeat, 1950’s tale about a rookie investment counselor who discovers that his penniless client is hiding a million-dollar inheritance in order to conceal a strange, double life.

Guess What? The hard part is over.

The film has already been shot – but we need your help to take it to the finish line!
We successfully raised 30K for principal photography and shot the film in December of last year. Over the course of a 7-day shoot, our amazing crew used costumes, props and lighting to transform locations and create a stunning, period appropriate world (which is not easy to do on a budget!). Since then, we have been working on the editing process and assembling a post-production team. We are really excited about how it’s all coming together, and can’t wait to share this film with the world!
