From abuse, rejection and drug addiction to first love, a slip-and-slide and freedom. How do we get from there to here?

From There to Here is a six minute short film, a non-linear narrative, told as a series of snapshots of people’s lives. Over time we see a pattern emerge. We start with moments of conflict and self-destruction, but soon things soften. We see moments of insight and transition. New paths are chosen. As we move toward the film’s conclusion we see snapshots of love, victory and the lightness of life lived in the moment. We’ll go from the labyrinth of drug addiction to the visceral joy of a slip-n-slide.

All of this is in service of the story’s central question “How do we move from a tortured life to one of grace?”
