What stood out this month? Venom, a music video for ‘Ghost Gun’ where a young hacker is stuck in an endless cycle of dirty business takes her life into her own hands. Checkpoint is an endless sci-fi thriller, where a self-serving prisoner must conquer a series of gruelling trials in order to reunite with his lost love. A one-night stand between two strangers ends up their bed floating miles high in the sky in Sleeping with Clouds. And finally, A King follows the Official Elvis impersonator of Las Vegas who has to confront his identity and sexuality as his public persona slowly fades away.
