Based on the viral Reddit short story, “I Picked up a Hitchhiker” by Blair Daniels, Fair Warning follows Dale (Johnny Sawyer), a combat veteran, struggling to adjust to civilian life with his expectant wife Mary (Teresa Cabell), he embarks on a hunting excursion to seek inner peace. When a dark truth emerges, Dale must count on the premonitions of a mysterious stranger, The Hitchhiker (Nate Johnson), in order to save the lives of his family from a toxic acquaintance, Matt (Reid Schmidt).
